The Adhengo Institute works with an objective to attain the goals enshrined in the vision of the Missions Mobility Fund as established by the associates program which aims at providing it’s students with a sense of history, and understanding of values and ethics; a commitment to Christian law and morality; an appreciation of human creativity and an analytical inquiring mind.
Along with research and meetings, the Institute has also developed specialised training activities, both in Kenya and abroad. It can, on request, offer specific programmes for visiting and resident clergy or missionaries, especially those serving as Chaplains.
Hitherto, we are an independent think-tank based in Buruburu, Nairobi. Our interdisciplinary research is conducted in a spirit of total academic freedom. Drawing on the expertise of our own research fellows, as well as that of external specialists, both Kenyan and foreign, we provide analysis and policy options that are meant to be as operational as possible.
